Account settings

In the Account Settings section, you can manage various aspects of your profile and account on our community forums. This page allows you to customize your experience and ensure your account's security.

Accessing Account Settings

To access your Account Settings, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your account on our website.
2. Click on your user profile picture or username in the top-right corner.
3. Select "Account details" from the dropdown menu.

Managing your Profile

Profile picture

Your profile picture is a representation of yourself on our community. To change your profile picture:

1. Go to the "Profile Picture" section in Account Settings.
2. Click the "Change Profile Picture" button.
3. Upload a new image or select one from your existing uploads.
4. Adjust the image as needed and click "Save."

Basic Information

You can edit your basic information to keep your profile up to date. You can modify, but this is not limited to:

• Forum username
• Email
• Avatar and profile banner
• Location
• About you
• Identities

Signature

You can also edit your signature so that it shows with your forum threads, forum posts, and conversation messages. This is editable at the "Signatures" area.

Account security

Keeping your account secure is crucial. You can access this at "Password and security".

2-factor authentication is one of the important security features! We always recommend keeping this on.
